The equipment needed for my photoshoot include studio lights, a backdrop, cameras, reflective lights. These items will ensure the photographs look professional and high quality. The reflective light creates a shining glare that makes the model golden and seem airbrushed, this will be an important feature for my shoot because I want my model to be presented as beautiful and radiant.

I will be shooting with a cannon 5 50 d camera which is an obvious necessity for my shoot as a good camera lens will allow me to capture professional photographs. We are lucky to have these resources at school and be allowed to use them for our magazines.

Studio lights are an essential addition to most photographers as it allows us to create natural lighting effects in a variety of situations which helps the photograph be more clear and successful. A Studio flash commonly refers to one or more floor-standing lights that are typically used to illuminate a subject in a studio environment. These will work with the camera so that the lights will flash only when required to do so.

A backdrop is important for studio shots as a plain background can make the models message seem stronger. It also emphasises the direct address between the model and the reader as there are no distractions in the back.

A camera tripod may be used at times to make sure the photos are still and at a similar heaight. The use of a Computer is crucial so that the editor is able to edit and perfect images afterwards. However, the computer must contain the required software, in this case Photoshop CS6.
